Men's

Men's Skis usually have a slightly stronger and stiffer core to ensure they are up to the task of supporting skiers who tend to be that bit more dynamic and heavier (no criticism intended, just a fact of life!).

It is true, there are ladies skis that are simply men's skis with a more feminine graphic, but generally speaking a ski specifically designed for a man to ski will be built slightly differently to accommodate the slightly different anatomical make up of a male.

A thicker core, more metal (usually Titanal) and more layers of carbon weave will in most instances be where that extra strength comes from.  This does make those skis a little heavier than their women's counterparts but does give the extra strength that is so often needed.
