Ski Boots

Children's ski boots can be a challenge to get right since the child will be heavily influenced by peer pressure and a desire to "follow the gang". Look is ultra important so be aware that asking "how they feel" may well not solicit truthful answers!

There are so many types, so many shapes and so many sizes. Here at Snowfit we we have Children's ski boots in stock from Mondo Size 18.5 (UK children's size 12) right up to Mondo 26.5 (that's about a UK size 7.5).  

It isn't just the size, if anything the internal shape is even more important.  The widest point of the boot needs to coincide exactly with the widest part of your child's foot and all our feet are just that little bit different.  It's particularly important that the flex point of the boot also matches the flex point of your childs foot/leg. 

Boots that work brilliantly for your child's skiing buddy won't necessarily work as well for your child.  Beware, peer pressure and a strong inclination to "follow a lead" may present challenges when trying to get the right boots for your child! 

Please visit a store with experienced boot fitters, they will help to determine what boots would or wouldn't work for your youngster and should also have the ability and equipment to make changes to both the internal and external shape of the boots to get an exact match for very individual feet.  To ensure the boots on your child's feet are snug enough to work both properly and safely, we offer a "trade back in" on children's boots to encourage keeping them in the correct size and soften the cost a bit.
