Half Term Holiday Checklist
What to get your kid if you don't ski!
February half-term is the ever popular week break where some schools offer their students a chance at escaping to the mountains for skiing or snowboarding.
A fantastic opportunity for young people to experience the outdoors in a totally different environment. With 360 degree mountain views, hot chocolate breaks and a holiday with mates, the infamous school ski trip has created memories for many. Of course, there is a lot to think about though. A snowsports holiday isn’t exactly the same as a trip to Spain with the family where you can pack your summer clothes into a suitcase and all you need to buy as extra is another sun hat and a couple bottles of sun cream. It requires just a few more items.
In most cases the actual equipment needed such as skis, boots, snowboard, helmet should be provided by a rental shop but clothing and gear is what you will need to take yourself.
