INJURY PREVENTION

Prevention of injuries is about reducing risk and limiting progression of injuries caused by activity, sports, work or from any external mechanisms. Whilst rest can be a part of the recovery process, too much may in fact slow down the healing process and does not mean total rest.

Individuals can reduce the risk by warming up and down, using correct equipment and technique, and improve alignment, muscle balance, core strength and conditioning with right training program.
