Power and precision in a lightweight ski that delivers on every level. The Snowfit Test team just loved them; so positive, so accurate in and out of the turn with real acceleration out of your turns when you time it correctly.
Whether you are using them as a powerful but lightweight Freerider, or as a backcountry tourer you will not be disappointed.
The new uphill-oriented VTA 98 replaces the Nanuq and offers the best possible skiing performance while on the descent. The 98mm waist is suited for solid flotation in the softer snow while offering lightweight for climbing and easy handling on harder snow conditions. It features all of our touring technologies, including a lightweight multi-layer wood core, touring optimized tip shape, and a carbon tip stabilizer. It also features the ICE.OFF top sheet, designed to keep snow from sticking and further optimizing weight reduction when the skier needs it most.
Skiing and skiing out of controlled areas is inherently dangerous. That skier should have the appropriate equipment and training to participate. And that skiers should only ski out of controlled areas when the conditions are safe. MDV do not take any responsibility for the snow or weather conditions for these tours. A professional guide is recommended to accompany skiers outside of controlled areas.
