The M6 Mantra from Volkl is their newest update of the ever popular Mantra ski. A freeride ski that has so much power it will have you questioning your own strength.

    Product description

The Volkl M6 Mantra is Volkl's powerhouse freeride ski. Torsionally stiff and with the new addition of the tailored frame and tips just elevates the potential that this ski has to offer. Not for the faint hearted, this ski will push you to your limits and requires the most effort in order to get the most out of it.

Volkl say - How do you improve a legend? You retain the features that made the ski famous and add the latest innovations, which allow progress where a year ago you couldn’t see any room for improvement. The new Mantra M6 again comes with a multilayer wood core and tip and tail rocker. But in the coming season, the newly designed ski body will, for the first time, be adapted to a 3D radius sidecut concept with a tailored Titanal frame.

Multilayer Woodcore - The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around.

3D Radius Sidecut - Three radii in one ski for maximum turning & speed versatility in all mountain skiing. Easy steering and manoeuvrable at higher speeds speeds, easy turn initiation and agile at lower speed.

Tailored Titanal Frame - Volkl's new key technology is called Tailored Titanal Frame. In contrast to the previous design, the width of the titanal frame is now adapted exactly to each individual ski length. Meaning that skiers can use the full potential performance of the ski.

Tailored Carbon Fibre Placement - One of Volkls latest technologies is Tailored Fibre Placement. In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. These are placed along the stress lines of the tip of the ski opening up all new possibilities for the ski, creating a more agile shovel reaction with less effort.
