A perfect ski for long hikes, long decents and steep slopes. The light weight construction of the ski results in it being a ski for touring. The Volkl Qanik is basically a touring ski, light, positive, good edge hold and comfortable across a variety of terrain and snow conditions. A quality ski for the touring skier who is looking for a narrower more traditional Touring ski or for the piste skier looking for a very light but responsive ski.

Some skis are great at the walking up part, the Volkl Qanik is great for the skiing down as well. It's a ski primarily for higher level skiers but can be enjoyed by anyone.
