G3 GENUINE GUIDE GEAR Ion Lt 12

Product description

We say:-

Much like the Ion 12, the LT (light) version goes upto a din of 12. Its a very easy to use system with a rear realise as well as the front pins. Our team really like the Ion Lt mostly down to how easy to use and realiable it is.

When skiing it holds really well and has no play. There is never a feel of you may come out at any moment. With the weight of it as well you don't feel like it's a weight at all.

When hiking, or climbing it's great as it is a simple system in which you rotate the rear binding and then you can use one or two of the extra walk aids that give you a higher step to reduce the amount you have to lift the boot when on incline. You have to wires/ cables that attach to you and the binding so if it does realise it won't slip away from you.

They say:-

You asked for it and we answered. Enter a sleek, lighter, brakeless version of the ION 12, designed for gram counters, minimalists, and ski mountaineers. The new ION LT 12 is the highest performance binding in its category, weighing in at only 456 g (1 lb) per binding, but still boasting the ION's renowned ski performance and feature set. To shave the weight we minimized the boot stop and heel rest, and removal of the brakes. Instead the ION LT 12 comes with a set of 2 coiled cable leashes that are easy to install and use with any ski boot.  In silver/orange.
