We say:-
The Kiku is the big ski for girls with big ambitions.  With a moderate full rocker and multilayer woodcore, the Kiku is geared up for an extremely wide range of situations. This ski was again a hit on the test so much so that Ski and Snowboard Magazine have it as their 'Best on Test' for the category 'women's freeride' claiming to have found no weaknesses in its performance.  These skis will undoubtedly suit the more competent women on the mountain, although it is more forgiving than you might expect.  A thoroughly versatile and dynamic ski, the type that will genuinely ensure you come down the mointain grinning from ear to ear!

They say-
All Mountain FreeskiingThe most versatile women‘s big mountain ski on the market, the Kiku continues to fly off the shelves with its sublime combination of float in powder plus all mountain versatility. Back for 2013/2014 with a hot new graphic.

Question:

Is the flex of the Kiku softer up front than the old flat V Aura. Thinking to buy the shortest version of the Kiku. My wife is light in weight at 48Kg and finds her current Auras 156 cm a little stiff in the off piste. Your advice would be appreciated.

    Good Morning Steve,

Thanks for your enquiry and I'm so sorry we missed this enquiry earlier in the week.

If it's not too late, the answer is yes, a little, and the rocker also makes them feel softer and less likely to "dive down" in soft snow.  Your wife might also like to consider the Scott Layla in 158 this is also softer and with a lovely Venturi tip to drive even more snow under the ski when its deep.  A very smooth, light and easy to ski ski that we feel is still very underrated and which gives great performance across a wide variety of slopes and conditions, floating noticeably better than you might expect from its waist width of 94mm.

If she went for either of these we would offer our "buy back Guarantee"  if she genuinely didn't enjoy them then subject to a "rental fee" of £70 and you shipping them back to us we would refund the balance paid so you could start again either with us or with any other retailer.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards
