All mountain ski

All skis are waxed, brushed out and carefully packed

We say:-

Scott describe this as “New Age”, next generation freeride.  Maybe; all we know is it is a mighty fine piece of kit and great fun to ski in a real variety of places and conditions.  Beautifully smooth, subtly responsive and yet excitingly dynamic, give it some “welly” and my word does it respond.

A less pronounced Venturi tip and tail than the Crusade make an interesting and very effective combination, very popular and extremely versatile, a real winner.

Scott say:-

"The perfect transition freeride ski for those with on-piste experience. The Venturi-Tip Rocker reduces snow friction, increases float, and gives the tip of the ski an ideal combination of float and agility. Snow friction is reduced without sacrificing control on steep descents."

I've been riding a pair of Scott Missions for the last 3 seasons which I love but need to replace - what would be the closest new alternative all mountain Scott ski

    Hi Richard,

So sorry we missed this earlier.  If it's not too late then the simple answer is either the Scott venture, wider but very similar skiing characteristics or the new Scott Surfair, same dimensions as the Mission but just made lighter to make it a serious Touring ski.  We skied them on piste and skied them hard on the SIGB ski test in Khutai back in Feb and they performed superbly.  In many ways, back to the Mission at its best, i.e. before some misguided designer tried to improve it about four season's back.  If you love the Misissions you've got I'm pretty certain you'd really enjoy either of these.

    Hope this helps
