All Mountain Hike and Ride/Touring ski

All skis are waxed, brushed out and carefully packed

We say:-

The "little brother of the Aztec" same shape just a noticeably lighter ski just without the final "punch" that the Aztec has.  A useful member of the Scott Touring range, not as powerful or perhaps quite as versatile as the awesome new Surf'air but nonetheless a great Touring ski for the skier that doesn't carry as many pounds/Kilos as some of us now do!

Scott say:-

"A superlight Paulownia wood core makes the Fly'Air light, easy to turn and forgiving while remaining remarkably stable. This is your go-to ski for those all day vertical missions."

Question:

Hello, I'm looking for skis to go on pists and ski touring. I'll use them in the Scottish hills, and in the Alps. I measure about 170 cm. Do you think the 165 cm will be too long ? The waist width is quite small. Should I look for wider skis ? Thanks for your help. Kind regards.

    Good Evening Cecile

Thankyou for your enquiry about the Flyair skis in165cm length.

They are a good ski and would do what you are looking for them to do for you.  However, the Scott Surfair,in a 168cm length, would be a more complete ski for you; good on piste and almost 10mm wider so much better float when off piste and in soft snow.  The length of 168cm would also be good as they have Scott's long "Pro Tip Rocker" so feel more like a 160cm piste ski to ski.

Our Surfair's are currently great value, lightweight and very versatile so if you are looking for a bargain ski that ticks all the boxes this is a great choice.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards
