Question:

Bought the quest last year from Mountain Spirit Aviemore. Can the boot be stretched as I have some pressure ponts on the sides ? Or they will have to be binned !

    Good Evening Peter

Thanks for your enquiry about pressure points on your ski boots.

The plastic on the Quest 80's is reasonably pliable with moderate heat and hydraulic rams and as long as the boot fitter/modifier is well versed in the technique then good results should be achieveable.

These boots have a simple, relatively uncluttered construction in the forefoot area that encapsulates the Metatarsal Heads (the usual site of forefoot pressure, meaning a good sustainable stretch is possible, it is best to ensure that the rams are left in for at least 12 and ideally 24 hours.

Hope this helps, do give us a call on 01603 716655 is you think a discussion could add to the above, we'll be more than happy to chat things through.

    Kind regards

    John and Team
