Question:

I'm around 5 ft 10, weigh just under 10 stone, what size board would you reccommend? I also spend a lot of my time off pisting or in the parks, how does the Salomon powder snake handle in the parks?

    HI Chris

the Powder snake is a great board but badly named! by that i mean that everyone thisnks that it is just a powder board but this is not the case. It is basically a slightly softer version of the Sick stick and while it will never be a pure jib board due to its slightly set back stance you only have to take a look at the K2 happy hour to see that this shape and work all over the hill. When i rode it i found it to be really playful easy to ride switch and the sort of board that really bread confidence. But i still like to charge down the mountain every now and again and it was good at that too.

re sizing i think the 160 would be a tad long due to your weight. You would be able to ride it, but would have more fun on the 156. Other boards that you could check out would be the weekend comfort crusier, or the volkl vice as these are both great value boards. or if you really want to treat yourself the best back country and park twin is the jones mountain twin. that board is epic, truly epic.

I hope that helps a bit please give us a shout if you need any more info

    Cheers

    Chris
