Ride fast, charge hard and pop lips from the summit down to the park. Armed with NoHang-Ups Pop, the Crossrocket blends the float and fun of rocker with the response of positive camber. Do it all without a catch!

All boards are professionally waxed and carefully packed ready for you to hit the snow!

Back for 2014, Rome's Crossrocket brings you hard-charging playfulness with a forgiving profile to get you out of the stickiest situations.

We rode the Crossrocket on our board test back in March and found it was probably one of the easiest boards on the market to ride. Blast through powder and piste and pop off those rollers with no chance of being spat out thanks to Rome's innovative NoHang-Ups Pop: continuous 3D rocker through the nose and tail with positive camber between the feet turning the whole mountain into a playground. Put simply, you can either ride the Crossrocket hard or take things at your own pace and let the board do the work. And while less aggressive than traditional cambered boards, the Crossrocket is a hero-maker that'll take your riding to the next level!

ButterOut Transition Zones - Back when Rome launched 10+ years ago, they introduced a concept called “Profiled Transition Zones” where they controlled the length and shape of transition zones to adjust board feel. ButterOut Transition Zones are the 2013 incarnation of this concept — with elongated transition zone to create a smoother, more pressable, less catchy feel for easy pre-spins and fun-timey snowboarding that is engineered for park and all-mountain play.
Skatecore Profiling - New for 2013, a core profile that is softer between the feet and stiffer in the nose and tail. The result is a ride that feels like a pair of trucks when turning and that ollies more like a skateboard. Balanced on rails, with a truer feeling in blunts. Take stock skate lines from the concrete park to the on hill park.
QuickRip Sidecut - These are not mere grip bumps. QuickRip features one mid-section sidecut and another sidecut in the nose and tail that is off-set from the mid-section sidecut. All sidecuts have the same radius. Where these sidecuts intersect, two Mid-Board Contact Points are created. These Mid-Board Contact points serve as the end points of the running length at slow speeds, and then at high speeds their contour serves as added edge control. The result is one board that “rides short” and “rides long”. Playful at slower speeds and powerful at high speeds.
HotRods - For added pop just where we want it, we mill channels in our cores and insert thin rods of carbon and glass. In Mods, HotRods have always extended to the contact point of the board for loading energy straight into where you want it. We’ve added this in Agents, Reverbs and Crossrocket so the HotRods extend to where you can see them protrude from the top sheet for more pop in those models. Great for all boards; essential for adding kick to rocker models.
Basalt Impact Plates - Directly under the bindings is the most vulnerable area of any snowboard. With extreme amounts of force being directed towards the baseplates, compression and stress needs to be eliminated and absorbed as much as possible. Made from Kevlar, Basalt or Glass, Impact Plates reduce compressions by 2 times.
SuperPop Core Matrix - Three zones of low-density wood with extended segments of poplar create a light, smooth transition of flex and a snappy reply of pop that is embedded in the boards like the Crossrocket, Shank, Agent Rocker, Lo-Fi Rocker, and Gold.
StraightTriax30 Laminate - The laminate that covers all the bases — from the park to all-mountain peaks, the 30-degree off-axis fibers set the personality of the board to flex into low speed butters and pop into high speed takeoffs. Provides some extra kick in a slash and maintains your style while getting creative on and off the trails.
SinterTrue Base - Durable structure with wax absorbing traits that create a fast moving base that can hold up to the abuse of park lines and keep up your crew in tree lines.
NoHang-Ups Pop - 3D camber profiling in the nose and tail, with a positive camber NoHang-Ups Diamond that ends 10 mm before the end of the running length. The result is a ride that optimizes the ollie power and edge responsiveness of positive camber, and the finesse, surfy-feel and butter-ability of rocker.
