Junior version of Dynastar’s Omeglass Slalom ski, very popular for both Dryslope and Snow racing. The WC is the beefier more aggressive of the two junior race versions but still not stiff in comparison with some other Junior Race skis. Ideally suited to the lighter weight junior racer who doesn’t have the power or inclination to ‘gorilla’ themselves through the gates.
In any case, the Laws of Physics strongly support the view that if you can use the inherent turning ability of a ski to ‘dance’ through the gates rather than power through, friction will be less, your times will be faster and with less effort and hence minimal energy loss, you’ll be in much better physical shape to maintain form and thus line in the latter stages of a race, (particularly on snow where your races are much longer).
