As 5050 skis go the Neo is in the top league with superb on piste performance, carving like a dream at all speeds. Classed by Scott as their SUV snow utility vehichle these will deliver superb performance across a wide variety of terrain.
The simple but very eye catching graphic against the beautifully graduated background colour of the topsheet phasing from steel blue through midnight to almost black makes for one of the most striking skis Scott have ever produced.
They do carve awesomely well, eat off-piste whether it be fresh soft snow or ageing crud and have enough of an upturn on the tail to make switch riding really fun without you feeling they could catch you out at any moment
Some people have said they find them a little twitchy when schussing, particularly in the shorter lengths. We'd suggest if you are looking to buy this type of ski then straight schussing isn't particularly high on your agenda. In all our testing, we've never found this to be an issue.
Quite simply we feel these are a hugely underrated member of the superb Scott range of all mountain skis buy, ski, enjoy, we feel sure you will.
