DYNASTAR SULTAN 80 FLUID + BINDING 09/10
A much improved ski this year with a new tip shape and new sidecut. The extended vertical sidewalls and Autodrive Technology give very good edge grip and a nice amount of feel through the turns. The “graining of the 3D arms and metal tip protection maker for a very durable ski and the graphic is undoubtedly eye catching without being overly “in your face”.
I know some testers preferred the “85” but we felt that for the skier looking for a sporty ski to mix a modest amount of off-piste with some pretty lively piste skiing this was the best of the range. If you want to do more off-piste then you are better to go for one of the 90-100mm waisted “true Freeriders”.
Avery good ski at a very competitive price given its versatility.
