Nordica's 'Double Six' boots include a 45 degree instep retention system to prevent your foot moving within the boots as you drive into turns. The full shock erasers and rubber soles take the sting out of those hard landings and prevent wear and tear to the underside of the boots. The extreme stiffness progression also means that the boot's stiffness is more than doubled at it's deepest flexing point. This along with the quick rebound from the boots allow more elastic energy to be returned from the boots.
