Salomon boards have always been great to ride, quick, stable but have often been accused of being heavy and a bit too stiff and the graphics were not up to much either. Not any more… I don’t know what the design team at Salomon have been up too but they really have hit the jackpot with this seasons boards. The official is a great example of pro rider lead design. This is David benedek’s board of choice and has most of Salomon’s leading tech on board (excuse the pun!) the Equalizer side cut makes for effortless turns and makes it hard to catch an unwanted edge. Add to this the new popster core which somehow (it was explained to me but I am easily confused check out the Salomon web site for a full explanation) seems make ollies super easy. A great alternative to a DH, Believer and a board that was impossible to get back off people once they had ridden it. This is a real all mountain freestyle gem, over look it at your peril.
