Brilliant New All-Mountain Ski

All skis are waxed, brushed out and carefully packed

We say-

This is the new and improved replacement of the Steadfast. The steadfast was one of my top 5’s so to see they had changed it made me very skeptical. However all they’ve done is made it more versatile by adding more of a spooned tip and a slightly pin tail which reduces the edge contact. It is still super light from an added metal ‘torsion bridge construction’ and its i-Core Ti. This tops the Steadfast when it comes to short radius turns, moguls and just all-mountain versatility. It floats in soft snow; at no point does it feel like it wants to dive. I’d personally classify this as a true 50/50. If you’re looking to venture slightly more off when possible, then the NRGY 100 will be better suited. This ski has already won awards so no doubt it will be a season sell-out!

They say-

The brand new NRGy 90 is the most modern and versatile all mountain ski on the slopes. With a lightweight i-core Ti with torsion bridge construction and all-mountain camROCK, it excels on hardpack groomers, bumps, crud, trees, or pow. This 90mm waisted ski will give you confidence and performance, while a tapered tail means you can carve, steer or schmear wherever you want.

Question:

I want to buy a Nordica NRGY 90 169 cm from you for my next trip this winter. What kind of binding do you recommend for this ski? Is there any Salomon model suitable for it? I apreciate a lot the Salomon bindings. Thank you.

    Good Evening Antonio

Thanks for your enquiry about the NRGy 90's in 169cm length.

We do have these in stock and can pair them with the Salomon, Warden or STH bindings, which should be showing as "available packages" on our website; another favourite for us to put on these is the Marker Squire.

Hope this helps, but any queries please don't hesitate to call us on 01603 716655.

    Kind regards

Question:

If I buy a pair of Nordics NRGy 90 from you: 1. Could you transfer my Fritschi Diamir bindings to them? 2. What length would you suggest for a 13St advanced intermediate skier, SCGB Siver on and off piste? Thank you.

    Hello Again Mel,

Sent you a "sort of reply" in response to a message I got from Nordica but here goes on the more specifics that you are enquiring about:-

They are not a demanding ski to ski and at thirteen and a half stone myself (age 60, so maybe not quite as dynamic as I once was) I loved the 177's.  The tip rocker makes these feel more like a 168/170 on piste and yet you benefit from the full length when off in the fluffy stuff.

The really nice thing about them was that although they are light and very manouevrable they still feel very secure when travelling at higher speeds.

Turning to the binding issue, putting your Fritschi's on would be fairly straightforward the only thing we might need to look at is brake width of your existing ones.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards
