Freeski freeride skis

All skis are waxed, brushed out and carefully packed

Movement says: "This outstanding ski is the obvious choice for the increasing number of all-mountain skiers looking for a modern-geometry ski with a light rocker. It is particularly suited to bigger guys with a lot of power and those who really like to work a ski all day long. The wide tip gives the ski great lift in the lighter stuffand allows it to be really playful in deeper powder. The relatively short sidecut of this ski makes it an excellent tool for steeper slopes where control is imperative. With a balanced and progressive flex, the JAM absorbs any sort of terrain or snow with ease. Not to be missed!" Question:

I have been skiiing on my Head i Titans for about 5 years now and love them, but they have taken a bit of a battering last trip due to lack of snow. Still keen to keep and maintain them but I do fancy trying something a bit different.I have read some good things about the Movement Jam and they have said they suit the bigger guy, which I am but have been told to try them on a shorter ski which you have. Would you agree with this and if so what bindings would you recommend ? Many thanks John

    Hello John

The Titans are still right up there with the Piste based all mountains, whereas the Jam is coming at the All Mountain sector rather more from the Freeride bias.  A great ski and definitely suited to the heavier skie as is the even wider (but not difficult to ski Movement Gambler).

Being wider, on both models, you can get the float with a slightly shorter ski and being a little stiffer they do carve well for slightly heavier folk when driven hard.  A useful alternative approach for you, I'd pair them up with a Marker Griffon or a Head/Fischer/Tyrolia Attack 13 similar funtionality with a lower price tag.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards

    John
