Hi there. Looking at investing in ski touring boots having got a taste last season when I lumbered around in my piste boots with Marker F12 bindings on K2 Coombacks. Really like the look of the Dynafits but are they compatible with my current set up? If not then any suggestions - Scarpa?

    Good Morning Mark,

Thanks for your enquiry about the Hike and Ride/Touring boots to go withe your Coomback and Marker Tour set up.  The TLT's would be compatible and provided they are a good enough fit to be able to be relatively easiliy "tweaked" to be absolutley right this would give you a light set up, but, it's obviously no good at all going light if your are going to be uncomfortable.

We do have other boots that could also work, the Fischer Transalp Vacuums have been popular and The Tecnica Cochise light and Dynafit Mercury and their new Neo that came out last year are also quite regular sellers for us. It does of course always really depend on your basic foot and lower leg shapes, because we really need to be close to right "out of the box" with adjustments being relatively minor.

We can work near miracles with all the boot mod gear and experience that we have and whilst we can successfully hit some serious challenges at a single go, to get it absolutely right can entail several visits.

Whereabouts are you and is a trip over to see us a possibility?

Look forward to hearing from you again.

    Kind regards

    John and Team at Snowfit
