Dupraz Plus for those who want more...

All boards are professionally waxed and carefully packed ready for you to hit the snow!

The Dupraz Plus is the beefed up version of the standard D1. The extra carbon stringers give a more aggresive ride for those more experianced or heavier. The Dupraz boards truly are different to anything else you will ever ride.

Developed by French shaper Surge Dupraz this freeride board proves that there is no substitute for one mans passion, determination and 20 years of shaping to create the "Perfect Snowboard". To get rid of oversteer, the length of effective/biting edge behind the back foot is increased. The curvature of this edge is pronounced at the back of the board. This increases the grip at the rear of the board and prevent the board feeling washy and lifeless. The long pointed nose means that in deep snow (the best conditions!), the shape will not push the snow, acting as a brake. instead the nose tapers upwards very gently, a real advantage in anything soft. Increased width at the front quickly pops the board out onto the surface like a speedboat and provides important surface area for deep snow. All to often in powder we are forced to make an exaggerated shift to the back foot,to avoid sinking. This dreaded back leg burn can be intensely tiring especially on less steep terrain but not with the Dupraz. But do not let this old school shape fool you this board will work as well on piste as it dose off it. Unlike many modern boards that ride longer than the actually are the D1 is the opposite. Its long nose and smaller contact footprint meaning this board rides much shorter than it is. so i would size up by 10cm on your regular size.
