The Evil Twin is shaped with TWIN 3BT, which offers a wide enough center base flat section for stable jibbing, while featuring enough total side base upturn to carve seriously smooth and save you on sketchy landings.

All boards are professionally waxed and carefully packed ready for you to hit the snow!

Now entering its tenth year in production, Bataleon decided to give this Evil Twin a special graphic build up of all the graphics of the past editions. The Evil Twin is shaped with TWIN 3BT, which offers a wide enough center base flat section for stable jibbing, while featuring enough total side base upturn to carve seriously smooth and save you on sketchy landings. The versatility of 3BT means that as well as park and backcountry kickers. The Evil Twin is also great for all mountain and powder riding. Here is to another 10 years!

TWIN 3BT

3BT divides the nose and tail sections into 3 regions: Uplifted side bases along the edges in the regions outside the bindings are for turning left and right and the centre base section has a positive camber profile from tip to tail (and edge-to-edge inside the bindings) to keep the performance and control of a traditional camber board.

Uplifted side bases make initiating turns easier, with fewer catches. The uplift begins near the bindings, reaching a maximum at the widest points. Go straight and only the edges between your feet are in the snow. This helps with control. Tilt the board by just a few degrees to engage the full effective edge and return to maximum stability. By combining regular camber along the length (yellow) with rocker along the edges (white), 3BT delivers all the playful, fun and forgiving aspects of a rocker shape without sacrificing the control, pop and stability you have come to expect from traditional camber boards.

TWIN 3BT is great for all round freestyle riding: The mid-width center base stabilizes your jump landings and rail slides while the uplift on the side bases gives a super loose and forgiving feel.

Question:

Hi I am interested in buying the 159 wide version of the evil twin but have seen on a web site that it top weight limit is 84 kg. Is this correct or would it be suitable for a rider like me as i am around 88 kg not including snowboard boots, bindings and other gear? Best Regards Alex Terry

    Good Evening Alex

Thanks for your enquiry and what you have to understand is that when anyone tries to put suggested weight of rider ranges on a board it is always a little subjective, especially when we are talking of on 3-5kgs.  We ahve riders noticeably heavier 10-15kgs than the suggested ranges thoroughly enjoying boards so the figures quoted are there as a useful guide, not as a black and white rulebook.

The ramification is that I don't think you would have any issues at 88 or even 90kgs on this board; 1110kg possibly but your suggested variance is nowhere near that.

Hope this helps but by all means give Commor or Michael a call on 01603 716655 after 10 tomorrow and chat it through with them.

    Kind regards
